If you or others are actively experiencing physical symptoms from possible pesticide exposure, consider seeking professional medical attention as soon as possible.

If you are experiencing a pesticide incident occurring right now, please call DPR's toll-free complaint information reporting line at (877) 378-5463, or call our after hours line at (209) 419-2514 and leave a detailed message.

Be sure to include your name, if you wish to remain anonymous, your phone number and/or other contact information, the address where the incident is occurring, if you or others are experiencing physical symptoms such as headache or nausea, who is making the application or is the responsible party, and a description of the incident including what you are witnessing, smelling, weather at the time, equipment and/or material used, sensitive sites nearby or whatever other information is relevant to the event.

The Department of Agriculture/Weights & Measures is the local delivery system for a variety of statewide regulatory programs. The County Agricultural Commissioner/Director of Weights and Measures is appointed by the County Board of Supervisors, receives direction from the Secretary of the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) and the Director of the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (CDPR) and works in cooperation with numerous other federal, state and local agencies. The Agricultural Commissioner's enforcement authority is derived from the California Food and Agricultural Code, and Calaveras County Ordinances. The Director of Weights and Measure's enforcement authority is found in the California Business and Professions Code. The County Agricultural Commissioner/Director of Weights and Measure's staff employs a high degree of expertise and knowledge of local conditions to uniformly implement and administer agricultural programs in Calaveras County.
